FAQs for Professionals
What are 1:1 sessions for professionals?
1:1 sessions are one off meeting with a clear focus for professionals who do not require regular supervision, but would benefit from additional support. They can be counted towards supervision or CPD hours, depending on the topic.
Topics can include (but are not limited to):
-
General exploration of working with neurodivergent clients
-
Creating and managing a sustainable private practice
-
Exploration of your own neurodivergence and how it shows up in your work
-
Managing self-disclosure and 'coming-out' professionally
-
Creating a neuro-affirming practice
-
Case consultation on specific client work
-
In depth look at my model of neurodivergent wellbeing and how you can integrate it into your work
Who are 1:1 sessions for?
Ideal for professionals in helping and therapeutic fields, including therapists, counsellors, coaches, mental health professionals, and students in professional training. Whether you're seeking clinical supervision, professional guidance, or specialized support, these consultations offer a dedicated space for professional growth.
What should I prepare before a 1:1 session?
Come prepared with specific questions, the more focused you are, the more valuable our time together will be. If you can let me know which areas you want to explore when you book, it will give me a chance to consider and prepare more thoroughly.
I would suggest limiting to one or two areas to explore, but we will discuss your aims for the session at the beginning.
What is the cancellation policy for 1:1 sessions?
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations. Late cancellations will be charged the full session fee, and rescheduling is subject to availability
